In return, leavers access the world beyond school with high levels of intercultural understanding and the incentive to improve it.
Dane Court Grammar School In-Year Entry (12 Plus & 13 Plus) Admissions Information
Dane Court Grammar School standard entry point is 11 Plus. However, the school also accepts applications from pupils interested in In-Year (Late) Entry. To assess pupils for late transfer, Dane Court Grammar School administers the CAT4 online test.
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) covers four subject areas, each of them evaluating pupils’ Reasoning skills through standardised assessments.
These tests will be taken at Dane Court Grammar School. If you wish your child to be considered for the assessments, you should apply to the Local Authority using the ‘In Year Common Application Form’.
The test lasts less than two hours. As the school is often oversubscribed, it holds a waiting list and ranks prospective students according to its admissions criteria, giving priority to:
- Looked-after children.
- Students with a specific disability.
- Students whose siblings currently attend the school.
- Students who live nearest to the school.
