Introduction
Located in the West Sussex countryside, Worth School was founded in 1933 as an independent boys’ school. However, since 2012, the school has been co-educational, admitting pupils aged between 11 and 18. A Roman Catholic school, its campus sits within Worth Abbey, a Benedictine monastery. The school has 600 pupils, split across 10 houses.

How to Apply for 11 Plus Entry to Worth School
Before applying for entry to the school, parents are encouraged to attend an open day. Parents and prospective pupils will be welcomed by the Headmaster and have the opportunity to meet current pupils and senior staff whilst taking a tour of the campus.
You can register your child with the school by completing the online registration form and paying a non-refundable registration fee of £150.
All registered candidates for the 11+ will be invited to the school’s Junior Assessment Day, which usually takes place six months prior to the year of entry. Prospective pupils will be required to take an online assessment, attend informal interviews with staff members and participate in small group tasks.
The Worth School 11 Plus Online Assessment
Before the school can allocate Year 7 places, candidates must sit an online assessment. This test aims to measure a child’s current ability in Verbal, Numerical and Non-verbal skills. Similar to CEM Select by Cambridge Assessment, it is designed to enable children to demonstrate their academic potential.
Worth School Admissions Criteria
Pupils must pass Worth School’s online test to be considered for a place in Year 7. On Junior Assessment Day, there will also be interviews and group tasks. References and reports from the candidate’s current school will be requested as they form a key element of the admissions process.
After assessment day, successful candidates are informed of the results at least six months prior to entry and will then be asked to attend an introduction day.
